The story of Stranger Things will continue in a new novel following the events of Season 4. Written by Caitlin Schneiderhan, the book, titled Stranger Things: One Way or Another, centers around the character Nancy Wheeler. It’s set to be released on December 2nd.
Two months after Vecna’s destructive earthquake, Hawkins, Indiana is still trying to rebuild. Nancy continues her relentless hunt for the villain, all while preparing to start college at Emerson. She’s finding it hard to juggle everyday life with the continuing danger from the Upside Down.
Nancy isn’t handling the investigation by herself. She’s joined by Robin Buckley as they look into strange happenings in Hawkins. When a classmate, Joey Taft, starts acting oddly at graduation, Nancy begins to think he might be involved in the trouble.
Nancy and Robin team up to investigate a growing number of strange events in Hawkins. These mysteries are much bigger than anything the local newspaper is reporting, with people getting sick and Nancy being watched by shadowy figures. It’s still unclear how all of this connects to the Upside Down.

Stranger Things: One Way or Another is a thrilling new novel filled with suspense, mystery, and supernatural elements. The story follows Nancy and Robin as they desperately search for answers, a quest that could leave them trapped in Hawkins. Alongside Nancy and Robin, readers will encounter characters like Joey Taft, and possibly even Vecna, though his involvement remains a secret.
This book offers Stranger Things fans a chance to revisit the world of Hawkins while they wait for the last season. It tells a new story focusing on Nancy Wheeler and her relentless drive to uncover hidden truths.
