What Happens in the Final Stranger Things Trailer Ever?
I’m so anxious for the final episodes to drop – we’re finally going to find out what happens to everyone! It’s weird that no major characters have died so far in Season 5, and it just feels like someone has to go in the very last episode. The latest trailer basically confirmed what we already expected, but seeing Dustin scream again is really stressing me out. Seriously, Steve Harrington better not die, especially after how much Dustin has been grieving Eddie. They just became friends again, and even with their whole ‘you die, I die’ thing, I’m hoping both of them make it to the end!
The Stranger Things 5: The Finale Trailer Takes Us On A Walk Through Previous Seasons
The final trailer for Stranger Things 5, Volume 3 opens with the group driving into the Upside Down, and a somber-looking Hopper. He urges Eleven to fight “one last time,” though fans are hoping that doesn’t mean Eleven will die. The trailer hints that Kali/Eight intends harm for Eleven and her sister. Hopper continues, saying, “Life has been so unfair to you,” but the trailer then focuses on a young Will. We also see quick glimpses of Dr. Brenner and a young Eleven as Hopper states, “Your childhood was taken from you.” The trailer concludes with a montage of scenes from all previous seasons of Stranger Things.
In Stranger Things 2, Hopper warns the group they’re under attack, and we immediately see them preparing to fight the Demodogs, followed by the Mind Flayer’s assault on Starcourt Mall with exploding fireworks. Later, in Stranger Things 4, Brenner is shown manipulating Eleven, and Max is seen levitating above Billy’s grave, trapped in Vecna’s mental prison as he attempts to take control of her mind. The trailer for Stranger Things 5: The Finale features Vecna, revealed as Henry Creel, confidently preparing to confront Eleven.
Good Times Do Also Exist in this Last Stranger Things Look
Hopper says this, filled with feeling, and the final trailer for Stranger Things definitely shows some heartwarming moments. We see Eleven, Dustin, and Mike share a hug – a callback to the first season when Eleven saved Will from bullies. There’s also a touching scene of Jonathan, Dustin, Mike, and Lucas embracing Will after he comes out. It’s clear the show is highlighting connection and support.
New Footage From Stranger Things 5‘s Final Trailer Shows Dustin Screaming in Pain

The trailer for Stranger Things 5‘s last episode includes a hopeful message – ‘Fight for the days on the other side of this’ – and a glimpse of what’s to come. We see Eleven, Kali, Hopper, and Murray venturing into the Upside Down. Interestingly, Eleven’s sensory deprivation bath is filled with water, which is a mystery. Fans are hoping this detail, and the empty pool from a previous season, will be explained. The trailer also shows Dustin and Lucas high up in the Radio Tower, looking at the Upside Down.
The trailer ends with the line, “Fight for a world beyond Hawkins,” and then cuts to Vecna and a disturbing scene – possibly the Upside Down version of the Hawkins lab or the radio tower exploding. Meanwhile, Dustin is shown screaming in pain, leading fans to worry about who might be in danger. While many hope it isn’t Steve, some believe Mr. Clarke, Dustin’s mentor, could die in the final volume of Stranger Things. The show has a history of killing off supporting characters, but Mr. Clarke’s name doesn’t fit the pattern of names starting with the letter ‘B’ seen with other deaths, so he might be safe after all.
Does Stranger Things 5: The Finale‘s Trailer Hint at Time Travel?

Did you hear that ticking clock in the trailer for Stranger Things 5: The Finale? It might mean time travel is coming! The trailer shows quick flashes of Henry becoming Vecna, Hopper armed with a gun, and Max, Kali, and Eleven – possibly inside Vecna’s mind. We also see Nancy and Jonathan looking concerned at the radio tower, and Hopper telling Eleven, “Let’s end this kid.” Finally, Joyce, Jonathan, Lucas, and Dustin appear frightened on a rooftop as a strange abyss opens, seemingly destroying the sky of the Upside Down. Dustin exclaims, “Mother of God!”
The trailer for Stranger Things 5: The Finale doesn’t show enough of Steve, which is disappointing considering it’s the last trailer we’ll get. But there’s not much we can do about it.
When Does Stranger Things 5: The Finale, a.k.a., the Final Episode of Stranger Things Ever, Release?
