As a dedicated follower and admirer of Robert Irwin, I am absolutely thrilled to see him partnering with Prince William in their noble endeavor to combat environmental issues. Having grown up surrounded by wildlife and conservation, it’s no surprise that Robert has taken his late father’s legacy and run with it, becoming a beacon of hope for the future of our planet.

As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but share my excitement about the growing collaboration between TV personality, Robert Irwin, and Prince William. Together, they’re taking on the crucial battle for our environment, following in the footsteps of Robert’s legendary father, Steve Irwin.
As a committed advocate, I am honored to announce that I have been appointed as a Global Ambassador for Prince William’s Earthshot Prize. This new role represents another step in my ongoing commitment to backing an endeavor that seeks innovative solutions to the pressing environmental challenges our planet is currently grappling with.
Influenced by his late father, Irwin, as well as his 26-year-old sister Bindi and the rest of their family, they passionately support and actively work for their wildlife conservation organization, Wildlife Warriors. They aim to protect endangered species through Australia Zoo.
20-year-old Irwin was present at the Earthshot Prize event in Singapore last year and has been a dedicated advocate for the project since its inception. Now serving as one of the first Global Ambassadors for Earthshot, he collaborates with South African humanitarian and actress Nomzamo Mbatha to advance the goals of the prize.
Prince William’s Earthshot Prize aims to recognize and reward trailblazing ideas and inventions that could help restore our planet. The prize is awarded to businesses, leaders, and innovators in five key categories: Creating a Waste-Free World, Improving Air Quality, Preserving and Revitalizing Nature, and Addressing Climate Change.
As reported by PEOPLE, Irwin expressed his excitement about collaborating with Nomzamo by stating, “I am privileged to work alongside her in highlighting remarkable individuals who are making a difference and helping us envision a more sustainable future for ourselves and generations to come. The Earthshot Prize brings a ray of optimism to those of us committed to environmental preservation.”
On the Earthshot Prize website, Robert Irwin is portrayed as a dedicated wildlife photographer, television presenter, and environmentalist. In essence, it’s mentioned that he has invested himself in various initiatives to safeguard vulnerable ecosystems and shield endangered creatures.
This year, the Earthshot Prize awards ceremony is scheduled for November, taking place in Cape Town, South Africa. Innovative organizations and individuals addressing the globe’s most pressing issues will be awarded $1.3 million at this event, as well as resources to grow and further develop their solutions.
