Get ready for the final season of Stranger Things! While it’s sure to be an emotional rollercoaster, it’s a celebration fans won’t want to miss. If you’re in Los Angeles on November 23rd, Netflix and CicLAvia are hosting a special event called Netflix x CicLAvia—Melrose Ave: Stranger Things 5 One Last Ride. It’s a chance to bike, skate, or walk along Melrose Avenue (closed to cars!) and celebrate the show’s fifth and final season. Expect a fun, immersive experience – just without any scary monsters or Upside Down dangers!

Don’t Miss This Free LA Event Celebrating Stranger Things 5

Fans in LA can experience an immersive Stranger Things 5 event on Melrose Avenue for one day only! It’s free and open to everyone – no registration needed. Expect fun photo opportunities, interactive experiences, live entertainment, exclusive merchandise, giveaways, and a sneak peek at new content. It’s the perfect way to get hyped for the release of Stranger Things 5 volume one on November 26th at 5 PM PT/8 PM ET.

Just like the kids in Stranger Things going all-out for Halloween, we want you to really commit to the theme! Come dressed as your favorite character – Vecna, Eleven, whoever – or embrace the awesome 80s style with neon colors, leg warmers, and other retro looks. Be warned: The Party will definitely notice if you don’t!

Fans can also join a special quest with fun, themed activities to unlock extra surprises! Netflix explains that the quest is a way to enhance the experience – simply participate in easy activities at various locations to discover hidden treats. Pick up a quest book at any of the hubs; it includes a map and instructions for trivia, discounts at local shops, photo opportunities, and more! It’s a fun, interactive experience you won’t want to miss.

You probably already know we’re releasing some exclusive content on the Main Stage at 10:55 AM – don’t miss it! As for the freebies, here’s what you can expect. Netflix is offering custom Stranger Thingsthemed accessories like stickers, spoke cards, bells, and lights to decorate your bike, available at the Vermont and Melrose hubs while supplies last. Plus, Dr. Squatch will be giving out limited-edition Stranger Things* deodorant at each hub. We think that’s awesome!

The Stranger Things 5 Photo Op

Show your love for Stranger Things 5 with this striking new design! It’s a great way for fans to get hyped for the upcoming season, featuring a chilling look at Vecna. Find it at the Vermont Hub on Melrose, between Vermont and Berendo.

Castle Byers Photo Op

As a huge fan of Stranger Things, I was so excited to visit Will Byers’ fort! They actually rebuilt the wooden hideout where he used to escape the Demogorgon – it’s a really cool photo opportunity for anyone brave enough to check it out. You can find it at the Melrose Hub, located on Melrose between Irving and Plymouth.

“Stranger Shapes” Challenge by Netflix Puzzled 

“Stranger Shapes” is a life-sized tangram puzzle inspired by the Netflix show Stranger Things and the Puzzled app. Visitors can try to solve a large, wall-mounted tangram within 60 seconds at an immersive booth. It brings the digital challenge of the Puzzled app to life as a hands-on activity. You can find it at the Melrose Hub on Melrose Avenue between Irving and Plymouth.

Stranger Things Custom Rides Display Area

Throughout the day, we’ll have special bikes decorated with a Stranger Things theme available for photos! You can find them along the bike route, and they’ll be stopping at each hub every hour so you can get a closer look and take pictures. They’ll be at all hub locations all day long.

One Last Ride Photo Op

I’m so excited about this! You absolutely have to get a picture with your friends under the ‘One Last Ride’ arch – it’s the perfect way to celebrate surviving the Upside Down! Seriously, it’ll be an awesome photo op, and everyone will be wishing they were there with you. Don’t forget to tag @ciclavia and @StrangerThingsTV so they can see it! You can find it at the Fairfax Hub on Melrose, between Genesee and Fairfax.

Neon 5 Photo Op

Don’t miss the huge, glowing number 5 on Melrose Avenue! It’s a perfect spot for a memorable photo. You can find it at the Fairfax Hub, located on Melrose between Genesee and Fairfax.

WSQK Radio Photo Op

Visit a recreation of WSQK radio, the popular station from Hawkins! It’s a fun, interactive photo spot that will have you humming your favorite ’80s tunes long after you leave. You can find it at the Fairfax Hub, located on Melrose between Genesee and Fairfax.

Vecna Immersive Photo Op by Jazwares 

Come experience a huge, interactive photo opportunity with Jazwares! You can pose like Vecna in a famous scene from Stranger Things Season 4. Plus, we’ll be giving away free goodies while they last. Find us at the Fairfax Hub on Melrose Avenue, between Genesee and Fairfax.
