Stellar Blade Just Got a Surprise PC Demo

For those eagerly awaiting the PC release of “Stellar Blade“, here’s some good news! Today, PlayStation officially announced that a demo for this intergalactic action game, previously exclusive to PlayStation, is now live on Steam for players to experience. The game, scheduled for June 11th launch, has been eagerly awaited by PC gamers, as the initial release in April 2024 was a massive success. While we’ve had hints of a PC version for quite some time, this year saw confirmation and swift announcement of its release date. Now, fans can finally get their hands on the game in an entirely new format, and sample the fresh features it offers.

For those who haven’t heard, “Stellar Blade” is a critically acclaimed action game developed by South Korean studio Shift Up, famous for “Goddess of Victory: Nikke.” In this game, you assume the role of Eve, a freedom fighter dispatched to Earth to battle the Naytibas, an aggressive alien species determined to annihilate mankind. Employing action-packed combat similar to that seen in games like “Bayonetta” and “Nier: Automata,” you’ll face whatever challenges come your way in an effort to save what remains of humanity. In our review of the game, we awarded it 4 out of 5 stars, praising its deep combat systems and striking creature designs within a relatively condensed gaming experience. Although there has been some debate about Eve’s costume design, the exciting gameplay and intriguing world have earned it a PC release and, subsequently, a demo.

Stellar Blade Demo Now Available on Steam

The demo, approximately 40 minutes long, resembles the one previously launched on PlayStation 5 last year, but will offer a fresh boss for enthusiasts to conquer once they finish the demo. This demo is accessible globally, unlike its previous restricted version. Moreover, the save data can be carried over to the main game upon its release, offering an excellent opportunity to experience the title’s performance on PC, considering its AI upscaling, 4K textures, ultrawide monitor compatibility, and unlimited frame rate. As previously stated, this demo is accessible on Steam and Windows. Luckily, if you enjoy the demo, Stellar Blade, both the Standard and Complete Editions, are currently discounted by 10% on Fanatical, allowing you to save money as well as humanity.

On June 11th, the highly anticipated game “Stellar Blade” will be launched on PC via Steam and Windows. If you’re curious about
