The third season of Star Wars: Visions is on its way, and a sneak peek has just been revealed for excited fans.
As a movie critic, I’ve been checking out this new animated anthology series from Lucasfilm, and it’s a really interesting approach to Star Wars. Each episode is a standalone short film – a completely fresh story, and what’s cool is that different animation studios are tackling each one. It’s not a continuing narrative, but rather a collection of unique visions all set within, or inspired by, that galaxy far, far away.
As a huge Star Wars and anime fan, I’m really excited about Volume 3 of Star Wars: Visions! It’s coming to Disney+ on October 29th, and from what I’ve heard, it’s going back to the style that made the first volume so great – nine brand new animated shorts. We found out the titles back in April at Celebration Japan, but the announcement about this new season actually happened last November. I can’t wait to see what these studios – some returning, some new – have created!

Volume 3 keeps the Star Wars story going with brand new adventures, all while feeling true to the original series. It blends the talents of both familiar and new animation studios, offering fans a dynamic mix of exciting action and compelling stories.
