The first issue, penned by Alex Segura and illustrated by an impressive team, promises to delve into the final days of the Galactic Civil War, with Luke Skywalker embarking on a mission to uncover a Jedi relic.
On this coming Wednesday, Marvel Comics will debut a brand-new miniseries titled “Star Wars: The Battle of Jakku – Empire on the Brink“. This series delves into the waning days of the Galactic Conflict.
On November 20, 2024, the first edition of the publication will become available. This work was penned by Alex Segura, with contributions from artists Stefano Raffaele, Jethro Morales, Jim Campbell, and Alex Sinclair.
The story revolves around Luke Skywalker embarking on a quest to discover an artifact that once belonged to the Jedi, believing it may provide insights into the future of the Jedi Order. Throughout this journey, he forms an alliance with a new companion and confronts Imperial troops.
Currently, it’s unclear where Han Solo and Chewbacca are located. However, at the last moment, our heroes are rescued by an unexpected character – a beloved friend who is a fan favorite.
