Star Wars Outlaws: A Pirate’s Fortune gets May 2025 release date

On May 15, 2025, Ubisoft has revealed that Star Wars Outlaws: A Pirate’s Fortune, the second downloadable content for RPG games, will be available for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Join Kay and Nix on an enigmatic journey through the Khepi system to understand what it truly means to be a leader. Partner with the renowned pirate, Hondo Ohnaka, and confront Stinger Tash and her Rokana Raiders as you sneak into the Khepi Tomb to unearth its secrets and buried riches. Throughout this adventure, you’ll encounter the Miyuki Trade League who will reward you for your trailblazing feats by having you smuggle perilous merchandise throughout the cosmos.

In this game update that coincides with the launch of the DLC, every player will get some cool cosmetic items inspired by the popular Star Wars: Skeleton Crew series on Disney+. These items include an outfit for Nix, a trophy for Kay’s speeder, a trinket for both the speeder and Trailblazer, Kay’s loyal spacecraft.

At Star Wars Celebration Japan, a trailer debuted, offering fans their initial peek at the upcoming journey. This sneak peek confirmed that the legendary Weequay pirate will be voiced by Jim Cummings, who has previously brought this vibrant character to life in Dave Filoni’s animated series The Clone Wars and Rebels.

After the release of Wild Card, the second and last narrative set featuring Lando Calrissian, entitled A Pirate’s Fortune, has been announced for Outlaws. Given the RPG didn’t sell well for Ubisoft, it seems unlikely that further content will be developed for the game in the future.

Further updates about the Star Wars video game are expected on April 19, 2025, as Bit Reactor unveils specifics regarding their upcoming tactical turn-based game titled Star Wars: Zero Company.
