Taking inspiration from traditional Advent calendars, the Disney Store has created a special countdown calendar themed around Star Wars. It features 12 miniature lightsaber hilts, each a detailed copy of the larger Legacy Lightsaber hilts. Each mini lightsaber represents a famous Jedi or Sith character from the Star Wars universe. The hilts come in individual display boxes that can be stacked to create a countdown display for any special occasion – like Christmas, a birthday, or even Wookiee Life Day! This Star Wars advent calendar features miniature lightsaber hilts of iconic characters like Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Yoda, and more – including Ben Solo, Kylo Ren, Qui-Gon Jinn, Mace Windu, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Princess Leia, Rey Skywalker, Count Dooku, and Anakin Skywalker from the Clone Wars era. Each hilt comes in its own clear display case labeled with the character’s name and includes a card detailing their affiliation and lightsaber color. The cases can be connected, and the entire calendar comes packaged in a presentation box.
This lightsaber collection unfortunately doesn’t include characters like Ahsoka Tano, Caleb Darrow, or Ezra Bridger, and it’s missing the Darksaber from The Mandalorian. It seems they focused solely on lightsabers from the main Star Wars films – even though Darth Maul appears in those films, his double-bladed lightsaber isn’t included. Hopefully, if this calendar does well, Star Wars will release a second one next year, potentially including lightsabers for characters like Cal Kestis or Sabine Wren.
