What The Titles Suggest

The latest announcements hint at a grim and intense story, focusing on Maul’s relentless pursuit of revenge.

As a huge fan, I thought the episode titles, “The Dark Revenge” and “Sinister Schemes,” really lined up with what we saw in the trailers. They definitely signaled that Maul was going to be back with a vengeance after being double-crossed by the Empire – it was clear he wasn’t going to let that slide!

“Pride and Vengeance” continues to explore similar ideas, and “Inquisition” clearly indicates that the Imperial Inquisitors will be central to the story.

As a big fan, I’ve been reading some speculation about the new episodes, “Night of the Hunted” and “The Creeping Fear,” and it sounds like things are really going to heat up for Ahsoka, Maul, and everyone else. Apparently, the Empire is tightening its grip, and they’re all going to be under a lot of pressure!

I found the title “Strange Allies” really intriguing! It makes me think that as the series goes on, Maul might end up teaming up with some pretty surprising characters, and it’ll be interesting to see who they are.

The last chapter is simply titled “Finale,” keeping the endgame under wraps.

Maul Arrives April 6 On Disney+

On April 6th, Disney+ will release the first two episodes of Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord. The series tells the story of Maul as he tries to restore his criminal organization on Janix, a planet the Empire hasn’t reached, and his encounters with a young Jedi apprentice named Devon Izara.

Sam Witwer will reprise his role as Maul, and the voice actors also feature Gideon Adlon, Wagner Moura, Richard Ayoade, Dennis Haysbert, Vanessa Marshall, and several others.

Dave Filoni created the series, and he worked with Matt Michnovetz to develop it. Brad Rau was the supervising director.

Disney+ Is Stretching The Rollout To Star Wars Day

Disney+ will release all ten episodes of the series over five weeks, culminating in the finale on May 4th. This timing conveniently places the release right before Star Wars Day, a smart marketing strategy given the show focuses on a well-known Star Wars villain.

The latest episode titles are building excitement for the April premiere, especially considering the trailers have already hinted at appearances by Maul, the Empire, Janix, and the Inquisitors.
