Paramount+’s latest trailer unveils the upcoming third season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. The new episodes start airing on Thursday, July 17, and can only be streamed in the U.S. and regions with Paramount+ availability. New episodes will be released every Thursday, with the season finale scheduled for September 11.

What’s New in Season 3
The narrative resumes post-cliffhanger from season two, centered around the Gorn. Captain Pike and his crew onboard U.S.S. Enterprise embark on challenging new assignments that test their limits, with a brand-new antagonist joining the fray. As the saga unfolds in season three, it broadens the horizons of the Star Trek universe, introducing novel characters and unexpected genre twists.
Prepare for an assortment of action, enigma, love, and humor – certain installments dare to tread uncharted territory not typically explored in prior Star Trek series.
Returning Cast and Guest Stars
This series features Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn, Ethan Peck, Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia, Babs Olusanmokun, and Martin Quinn as the main cast. Additionally, Rhys Darby, Patton Oswalt, Cillian O’Sullivan, Melanie Scrofano, Carol Kane, and Paul Wesley are scheduled to make special appearances throughout this season.

The show is created by CBS Studios, Secret Hideout, and Roddenberry Entertainment. Akiva Goldsman and Henry Alonso Myers are back as co-producers, with Alex Kurtzman, Anson Mount, Rod Roddenberry, Aaron Baiers, Dana Horgan, Alan McElroy, Robbie Thompson, Frank Siracusa, John Weber, Chris Fisher, and Trevor Roth serving as executive producers. Currently, a fourth season is being made.
