Beginning July 17th, you’ll find Season 3 of “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” streaming on Paramount+. The series debuts with a double episode release, followed by new episodes every Thursday until the season finale on September 11th. Prior to that, the premiere will be held at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 14th.
This season, there are a total of 10 episodes, and their titles have been revealed. Here’s the complete list that was shared by Paramount+.

- Episode 4: A Space Adventure Hour
- Episode 5: Through the Lens of Time

- Episode 8: Four-and-a-Half Vulcans

- Episode 10: New Life and New Civilizations
In Episode 8, titled “Four-and-a-Half Vulcans,” which was previewed at San Diego Comic-Con 2024, we find Captain Pike and his team undergoing a peculiar transformation – they become Vulcans!
The remaining titles offer some clues, but not too many. Viewers have been going over the teaser trailer and speculating on what each episode might entail. Some suspect that either “A Space Voyage Hour” or “Via the Lens of Time” could be the nostalgic episode featuring a 1960s setting.
Paramount+ recently unveiled intriguing new character posters for the main cast, which were distributed via the official Star Trek Instagram account. These captivating images were skillfully captured by photographer Sarah Coulter. The characters are depicted in duos, with each pair standing on a distinct, alien world.
In this arrangement, Captain Pike is joined by Number One, Spock is accompanied by Nurse Chapel, and Uhura teams up with Ortegas. A poster displays zombies snatching a gadget from Scotty and Commander Pelia, suggesting a future episode’s plot twist. Another illustration features Nurse Chapel wiping away a tear as she stands beside Spock, potentially foreshadowing emotional turmoil in the romantic triangle involving Dr. Roger Korby.
In addition to returning characters, Season 3 introduces a few fresh ones as well. One of these newcomers is Martin Quinn who will be taking on the role of Lieutenant Montgomery Scott, more commonly known as Scotty, full-time.
He’s joining forces with Carol Kane’s character Commander Pelia in the Engineering department. Based on reports from IGN and Paramount+, the upcoming season promises to explore a variety of genres and moods, ranging from comedic and action-packed scenes to romantic and mysterious ones.
In the third season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, we catch up with Captain Pike’s crew aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise, dealing with the aftermath of their intense confrontation with the Gorn in the previous season. However, they will soon encounter fresh alien life and societies, which will challenge their courage and determination, as a formidable new adversary emerges.
Work on a fourth series is underway, with filming already started. However, at present, everyone’s attention is focused on Season 3, where the Starship Enterprise’s crew embarks on fresh adventures.
