Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Beams Into NYCC With Season 4 First Look

At New York Comic Con, Paramount+ gave fans a first look at Season 4 of *Star Trek: Strange New Worlds*, along with a special feature showing how the show’s detailed costumes were made for Season 3.

The *Star Trek* panel at the event included cast members Ethan Peck, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia, and Martin Quinn. They were joined by co-showrunners Akiva Goldsman and Henry Alonso Myers, and executive producer Alex Kurtzman. Josh Horowitz moderated the conversation, where the group shared insights into the making of the show and what viewers can look forward to in the upcoming season.

Season 4 and Beyond

Production on Season 4 of *Star Trek: Strange New Worlds* finished earlier this year, and a fifth and final season is now being filmed. The upcoming season will continue to follow Captain Christopher Pike and the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise as they face challenges both within their team and from the outside world. Expect a blend of action, heartfelt moments, and discovery, with new and familiar faces and encounters with dangerous aliens, all as the crew works towards a positive future.

Returning Cast and Production Team

I’m so excited to see Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn, and Ethan Peck back! Plus, Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia, Babs Olusanmokun, and Martin Quinn are all returning too. And it’s great news that Carol Kane and Paul Wesley will be making guest appearances again!

As a critic, I’ve been looking at who’s behind the scenes, and it’s a pretty impressive team calling the shots. Akiva Goldsman and Henry Alonso Myers are co-showrunning, which gives me confidence in the creative direction. And the list of executive producers – Alex Kurtzman, Aaron Baiers, Dana Horgan, and a whole crew including folks like Anson Mount and Rod Roddenberry – signals a lot of experience and passion for this project. It’s being produced by a solid combination of studios: CBS Studios, Secret Hideout, and Roddenberry Entertainment, which is a good sign for its production value and overall ambition.

Star Trek Universe Expands

You can now watch all three seasons of *Star Trek: Strange New Worlds* on Paramount+. The streaming service also offers a wide range of other *Star Trek* shows, including *Star Trek: Section 31* with Michelle Yeoh, *Star Trek: Starfleet Academy*, *Star Trek: Discovery*, *Star Trek: Picard*, and the animated series *Star Trek: Lower Decks*.
