This animated series has brought a fresh, humorous take on the Starfleet life, focusing on the unsung heroes of the U.S.S. Cerritos – a group of characters that I’ve come to love and root for.

As we celebrate Star Trek Day, the show has offered a sneak peek at what’s to come on the U.S.S. Cerritos, featuring our quirky cast of characters.
Here’s a quick synopsis of season five:
In the fifth season of Star Trek: Lower Decks, the team aboard the U.S.S. Cerritos faces the challenge of fixing “space rifts” that are causing turmoil in the Alpha Quadrant. If it weren’t for the Orion conflict, angry Klingons, diplomatic crises, unsolved murders, and their personal career goals, patching up these rifts would be a piece of cake for Ensigns Mariner, Boimler, Tendi, and Rutherford. The upcoming season on Paramount+ honors this underrated crew who are teetering on the brink of being promoted out of their lower deck positions and into uncharted Starfleet roles.
Looking forward to Star Trek: Lower Decks‘s upcoming season as its latest sneak peek has us excited! Luckily, we don’t need to wait much longer – the series will be back on October 24, airing two episodes first.
