‘Star Trek: Khan’ Audio Series Reveals Lead Voice Cast, Featuring Naveen Andrews

As a die-hard Star Trek fan, I’m thrilled to share that ‘Star Trek: Khan’ has unveiled the main vocal talent for their upcoming project! This captivating audio series is set to debut across all significant podcast platforms towards the end of 2025. Can’t wait to join the adventure and boldly listen where no man (or woman) has listened before!

Actor Naveen Andrews from “Lost” is set to voice the iconic character Khan Noonien Singh, while Wrenn Schmidt known for “For All Mankind” is cast as his wife Marla McGivers. Recording for the series has wrapped up, and further cast members will be announced later on.

The tale derives inspiration from the brainchild of Nicholas Meyer, who penned and directed “Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.” Authors Kirsten Beyer and David Mack are responsible for transforming this concept into a live-action narrative.

In this upcoming series, we’ll delve into the events that unfolded on the unforgiving planet Ceti Alpha V following Captain Kirk’s departure, leaving Khan and his followers behind. The narrative will reveal how Khan transformed from a potent leader with lofty aspirations to the vengeful antagonist portrayed in “The Wrath of Khan.

In the classic series “Star Trek: The Original Series,” Khan Noonien Singh and his comrades were revived from cryogenic stasis and attempted to seize control of the starship USS Enterprise. A Starfleet historian named Marla McGivers developed feelings for Khan, which led her to aid him. Rather than facing discipline, she opted to live with him in exile on Ceti Alpha V, a choice that ultimately proved fatal for her, as followers of “The Wrath of Khan” are aware.

Star Trek: Khan is brought to you by CBS’ Eye Podcast Productions, Secret Hideout, and Roddenberry Entertainment. Alex Kurtzman, Aaron Baiers, Kirsten Beyer, and Rod Roddenberry serve as executive producers. Fred Greenhalgh directs the podcast, with Realm handling production duties.
