On September 10, 2025, the upcoming sci-fi management game, “Star Birds,” will debut on Early Access for PC. This confirmation comes from Toukana Interactive, who decided to postpone the release by a week following the announcement that Team Cherry’s highly anticipated title, Hollow Knight: Silksong, would be released on September 4.
Despite not being as widely anticipated as Silksong, outside of GTA 6, there’s no other game that could match its excitement level. However, Star Birds has its dedicated fanbase for two compelling reasons. Firstly, Toukana’s previous game, Dorfromantik, is a highly-appreciated gem among strategy and puzzle enthusiasts. Secondly, the aesthetic and music of Star Birds are inspired by the distinctive style of YouTube channel kurzgesagt, and the German company also serves as a co-publisher for the title.
