What’s neat about how Prime Video is promoting this new live-action series is that they’re showing it in both classic black and white and full color. However, I especially like the trailer for Spider-Noir in black and white – it feels more raw, dark, and captivating. In the trailer, Ben explains his story started with uncontrollable thoughts and urges that he usually managed to keep down…until he couldn’t anymore. The series’ slogan, “With no power comes no responsibility,” hints that this is going to be a really intense and unpredictable story.
Here’s a synopsis to go along with what you’ve just saw:
Spider-Noir is a live-action series inspired by the Marvel comic Spider-Man Noir. The show follows Ben Reilly, played by Nicolas Cage, a world-weary private investigator in 1930s New York. After a devastating personal loss, he’s compelled to confront his past and become the city’s lone protector.
And, because you gotta see it, here’s the true-hue trailer for Spider-Noir below.
What Is the Release Date for Nicolas Cage’s Spider-Noir Prime Video Series?
You can watch all of Spider-Noir on Prime Video starting May 27th. Plus, you’ll be able to choose between two different color versions when you stream it.
