I’m so excited! Prime Video just dropped the first pictures of Nicolas Cage as Spider-Noir! They’re doing some early promotion for the series and these photos give us our first real look at him in the role. It looks amazing!
This series is a first for actor Cage, who stars as Ben Reilly, a New York City private investigator in the 1930s. Prime Video describes the story as following a man who used to be the city’s sole superhero. Following a personal loss, he abandoned that life and became a down-on-his-luck detective. When a new case arises, he’s forced to confront his history and reclaim his former identity.

Coming soon to Prime Video.

The new images also reveal the key supporting characters. Lamorne Morris plays Robbie Robertson, a journalist navigating a challenging time while remaining a steadfast friend to Ben. Li Jun Li is Cat Hardy, a nightclub performer with a hidden, complex personal life. And Karen Rodriguez plays Janet Smart, Ben’s dedicated secretary who keeps his business on track and isn’t afraid to be direct.
Just got a first glimpse of Li Jun Li and Lamorne Morris as Cat Hardy and Robbie Robertson in the upcoming ‘Spider-Noir’ series, and I’m already intrigued! They both look fantastic in their roles.

In addition to the previously announced cast, Prime Video has confirmed Abraham Popoola, Jack Huston, and Brendan Gleeson will also star in the series. Many other actors will make guest appearances throughout the show.
Sony Pictures Television is making ‘Spider-Noir’ for MGM+ and Prime Video. Harry Bradbeer directed the first two episodes and is also an executive producer on the show. Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot developed the series, and they’re working with the team behind ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ – Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal. Nicolas Cage is also an executive producer.
The new series is coming this spring, starting with a premiere on MGM+ in the United States. It will then be available worldwide on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories.
