Spider-Man Villains Who Deserve The Spotlight; Our Picks For The Web Crawler’s Fourth MCU Entry

As a long-time comic book enthusiast and moviegoer who has witnessed the evolution of Spider-Man since his debut, I am thrilled at the prospect of seeing these iconic villains grace the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Having grown up with these characters and their stories, I can confidently say that the addition of Hobgoblin, Hydro-Man, Kaine, and Tombstone would not only elevate the Spider-Man franchise but also provide a rich tapestry for the audience to immerse themselves in.

Having seen the potential hints towards Hobgoblin in “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” I can hardly contain my excitement at the possibility of witnessing Ned Leeds’ transformation into the brutal and terrifying villain he becomes in the comics. Hydro-Man, with his ability to change into water, would bring a unique element to the action-packed Spider-Man battles we’ve come to love. Kaine, as a clone of Spider-Man with enhanced powers, would undoubtedly provide an intense and engaging rivalry for our friendly neighborhood superhero.

Lastly, Tombstone, who challenged Kingpin in The Amazing Spider-Man comics, could bring a fresh perspective to the Spider-Man universe by introducing crime-based storylines that have yet to be explored on the big screen. It’s high time we see Spider-Man face off against some truly formidable foes in the criminal underworld.

In closing, I must say that if these villains are added to the MCU, it will not only satisfy long-time fans like myself but also attract a new generation of fans eager for exciting and innovative storytelling. And let’s not forget, with great power comes great responsibility – and these villains will certainly test Spidey’s mettle!

Oh, and one last thing: I can’t wait to see if they include the classic line, “I’ve got spider-sense tingling,” when Kaine makes his debut. Now that would be a treat!

As a longtime fan of Spider-Man, I’ve been captivated by his battles against some of the most formidable villains in the Marvel Universe. Having grown up watching the web-slinger take on iconic adversaries like Green Goblin and Venom, I can say with conviction that the intelligence and cunning displayed by these bad guys has always been a highlight for me. From scientists like Otto Octavius to accidental creations like Vulture, each villain offers a unique challenge for our friendly neighborhood hero. With Tom Holland’s Spider-Man now firmly established in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I eagerly await the opportunity to see more of these intriguing adversaries brought to life on the big screen. It’s an exciting time to be a fan!

Since we’ve been keeping an eye on Morbius and more recently, Kraven, let me share some other characters who will be chasing Spider-Man through New York.

Hobgoblin

It’s quite possible that this villain could make an appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), as there seem to be hints pointing towards this in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Recall the instance when Andrew Garfield, Tobey Maguire, and Tom Holland were all present at a lab and Ned Leeds displayed fear upon hearing that one of Peter Parker’s companions transformed into a goblin?

Yes, Ned Leeds is the Hobgoblin who turns out to be the most brutal goblin of all time.

Hydro-Man

In this scenario, Morris Bench accidentally enters a test device, leading him to become immersed in an energy transformation procedure. During this incident, he also encounters volcanic emissions that alter his very essence at the molecular level. Much like Sandman, Hydro-Man possesses the unique power to transform into watery form.

Kaine

As a devotee, I find myself embodying an extraordinary version of Spider-Man, one who surpasses the original in many aspects. My spider-sense, honed over time, is more acute than Peter Parker’s, providing me with an unparalleled level of awareness and protection. This heightened ability has been further refined by a unique adaptation of Spider-Man’s web-slinging known as the Mark of Kaine.

This one can literally go toe to toe against the friendly neighborhood superhero.

Tombstone

If you believe that Kingpin heads the top mob, then it’s been revealed that Tombstone has taken over as the new leader. He was the primary adversary in the recent series of The Amazing Spider-Man, and he even went so far as to confront Kingpin himself.

While we haven’t seen a crime-based Spider-Man movie yet, he suits the franchise perfectly.
