According to a recent report by Daniel RPK, Eman Esfandi, known for his role in Ahsoka, is joining the cast of Spider-Man: Brand New Day as Mary Jane Watson’s new boyfriend.
Imaan Esfandi starred as Ezra Bridger in the Disney+ series Ahsoka and is reportedly joining the cast of the upcoming Spider-Man movie in a significant supporting role.
Although Marvel Studios hasn’t officially announced who will play the role, the potential casting choice is already causing a negative reaction from fans.

Where Spider-Man Left Off After No Way Home
The movie Spider-Man: No Way Home concluded with Peter Parker making a huge sacrifice to save the world. Doctor Strange cast a spell that made everyone – including his friends MJ and Ned – forget he ever existed.
The movie ended with Peter sadly watching MJ and Ned move on with their lives, having forgotten him. He decided not to reconnect with them, leaving him isolated as the story continues.
That status quo sets the stage for major changes in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

MJ’s New Boyfriend Rumor Explained
Rumors suggest Eman Esfandi will play Michael Jackson’s new boyfriend in the upcoming film. This casting has sparked concern among fans, as it echoes a controversial storyline from Spider-Man comics.

After Peter Parker’s life was magically reset in the latest Marvel comics, MJ started dating someone new named Paul.
Fans didn’t like that character, feeling the storyline unnecessarily drove a wedge between Peter and MJ.
