While Jeff Sneider suggested it could be a female version of Chameleon, Rocha isn’t sure about that specific character. He does mention that Mystique would be an exciting possibility, especially given recent rumors linking Sadie Sink to the role of Jean Grey.
According to inside information, the main villain in the upcoming film is a female character with the ability to change her appearance. The YouTuber revealed they’ve learned this from sources connected to the production and someone who attended a recent Disney presentation. While the identity of the actress remains confidential, the villain is definitely a shapeshifter, and may or may not be connected to the character ‘The Chameleon’.
Okay, so we already knew this movie was going to have a massive cast with a ton of women, which is awesome. But according to the latest buzz, and what Rocha is reporting, it sounds like Spider-Man’s main opponents will actually be Hulk and The Punisher! That’s a surprising pairing, and honestly, I’m really excited to see how that plays out.
Rocha hints at a new villain and further complicates the movie’s storyline, tying into the spell that’s meant to make people forget Peter Parker. It seems Peter will have a tough time when he sees Zendaya’s character, MJ, with someone else, potentially leading to a strong emotional reaction.
He mentioned that Boomerang will appear in the film, and that MJ now has a new boyfriend. This development causes Peter to become upset, leading to a more serious and realistic tone for the movie.
