As a total movie and TV buff, I’ve been checking out what everyone’s watching on Paramount+, and this week’s list is a really fun mix! It’s got those shows you always go back to – classics for comfort viewing – alongside brand new premieres and big franchise titles. There’s everything from animated series and nail-biting survival shows to those addictive crime dramas, plus a couple of newer hits that everyone’s been talking about. I’ve put together a quick rundown of each show, so you can get the gist of what it’s about, who stars in it, and why it fits into the bigger TV landscape – making it easy to jump right in!
10. ‘NCIS: Tony & Ziva’ (2025– )

‘NCIS: Tony & Ziva’ brings back beloved former ‘NCIS’ agents Anthony DiNozzo and Ziva David for a new adventure that takes them around the world. The story combines exciting international cases with their personal lives, and while it continues their established history, it’s also easy for new viewers to jump in. Expect plenty of action filmed in Europe and a storyline that unfolds over the entire season, blending work and family. You can watch all episodes exclusively on Paramount+.
9. ‘Elsbeth’ (2024– )

‘Elsbeth’ is a new show connected to the world of ‘The Good Wife,’ starring the unique and brilliant Elsbeth Tascioni. She works as a consultant with the NYPD, helping them solve complicated cases. What makes the show different is that it often reveals who committed the crime right away, and then focuses on how Elsbeth figures out the details of their plan. It also features well-known guest stars and is filmed in New York City, making it enjoyable even if you just watch individual episodes. You can stream episodes and watch full seasons on Paramount+ after they air on TV.
8. ‘Criminal Minds’ (2005–2020)

‘Criminal Minds’ centers on the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) and how they investigate the most dangerous criminals across the country. The show became well-known for its focus on understanding what makes criminals tick, often ending with dramatic captures. The series has expanded with spin-offs and revivals, continuing the BAU team’s adventures with familiar faces. You can find all the original seasons and related shows on Paramount+, making it easy to watch everything in one place.
7. ‘Survivor’ (2000– )

‘Survivor,’ hosted by Jeff Probst, drops contestants in faraway places where they face challenges and vote each other out, with the last person standing declared the winner. Over many seasons, the show has changed and added new twists like advantages and hidden idols, and players have developed clever strategies to influence the final vote. While filming now mostly happens in Fiji to streamline production, the game stays exciting with ongoing rule changes. You can find a huge collection of past seasons and watch new episodes on Paramount+.
6. ‘Tracker’ (2024– )

‘Tracker’ centers around Colter Shaw, a skilled survivalist who earns rewards by finding missing people and fugitives using his expertise in tracking and wilderness survival. Based on Jeffery Deaver’s novel ‘The Never Game,’ each episode features a new case, while also hinting at a larger story about Colter’s history. The show is filmed on location throughout North America, showcasing both dramatic wilderness rescues and fast-paced city chases. You can watch full episodes on Paramount+ after they air on TV, and the entire season is available for streaming.
5. ‘Matlock’ (2024– )

This updated version of ‘Matlock’ features a new main character, Madeline “Matty” Matlock, who’s back practicing law at a top firm. Each week’s episode presents a new case that delves into the complex world of big business, legal principles, and the tactics used within the legal system. While honoring the spirit of the original series, this ‘Matlock’ is also designed to be enjoyed by viewers who are unfamiliar with it. You can watch episodes on Paramount+ after they air on CBS.
4. ‘NCIS’ (2003– )

NCIS is a crime drama centered around a team in Washington, D.C. that investigates cases involving the Navy and Marine Corps. The show combines detailed forensic work with the personal stories of its characters. Originally starting as a spin-off of the series JAG, NCIS has grown into a popular franchise with multiple shows around the world. Fans enjoy classic episodes featuring the character Gibbs, as well as more recent seasons with new team leaders and big, multi-part storylines. You can stream many past seasons and current episodes on Paramount+ in some areas.
3. ‘Ghosts’ (2021– )

The American version of ‘Ghosts,’ inspired by the British show, follows a couple who unexpectedly inherit a historic country home… and its quirky residents – a group of ghosts from different time periods. Rose McIver and Utkarsh Ambudkar star as the couple, and each episode gradually reveals the story of one of the ghosts. The show is a funny mix of supernatural humor and heartfelt character development, sometimes focusing on a single ghost’s story per episode. You can watch previous seasons and new episodes (depending on where you are) on Paramount+.
2. ‘Tulsa King’ (2022– )

I’m really excited about ‘Tulsa King’! It stars Sylvester Stallone as Dwight Manfredi, nicknamed ‘The General,’ a tough guy from the New York mafia who gets sent to Oklahoma to start a new criminal operation after spending years in prison. It’s a really interesting show created by Taylor Sheridan and originally led by Terence Winter, mixing funny moments of him adjusting to a totally new place with serious crime drama. They filmed all over Oklahoma and nearby states, which is cool because it shows a different side of the criminal world, not just the usual stuff you see on the coasts. You can watch the whole first season – and any new seasons as they come out – on Paramount+.
1. ‘South Park’ (1997– )

South Park, created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, is an animated comedy about four boys growing up in Colorado. Known for its deliberately simple animation style, the show playfully mocks current events, celebrities, and the latest technology. With over 300 episodes and special extended-length programs, South Park is a long-running, award-winning series that continues to be a major force in adult animation. Recent specials are available on Paramount+, while older seasons can be found on various streaming services depending on where you live.
