Besides her work in movies, Emma Turner is getting ready for a very challenging role. She’s been officially cast as Lara Croft in the upcoming Tomb Raider series for Prime Video, a project led by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the creator of Fleabag.

Earlier this year, Amazon MGM Studios released a first look at Turner in costume, showing her in a battle-ready outfit inspired by the classic 1990s video game. Filming has moved to the UK, and Turner says the training and security for this show are even more rigorous than anything she experienced while filming Game of Thrones.
