Sony Pictures is generating excitement for its upcoming “Spider-Man: Fresh Start” movie featuring Tom Holland as Spider-Man. With production now in high gear, Sony has shared a one-minute sneak peek video to offer fans a taste of the action and thrilling stunts featured in the new film.
In a casual and engaging tone: Tom Holland is seen donning his Spider-Man suit, mingling with fans amidst filming. He jokes, “Today marks my fourth day one on the Spider-Man set, and putting on this suit feels unique this time around. Moreover, for the first time, we have fans on set on day one, which makes it extra special. I’m excited to share this experience with them.” Holland continues, “We’ve got some familiar faces here. I’ll do my best, aiming to get it right, no added pressure.
In the final part of this backstage clip, Tom Holland performs a thrilling high-wire act atop a tank. The scene shows him being pulled by a military vehicle’s entrance, causing the handle to break, leaving Holland in a tense situation. Using his Spider-Man instincts, he manages to cope. At the end of the take, he exclaims, “That was nasty!” This movie, titled Brand New Day, is the fourth installment in the Spider-Man series and serves as a sequel to 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, it features Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Liza Colón-Zayas, Jon Bernthal, and Mark Ruffalo among its cast. You can watch the clip above.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is the next MCU film and lands in theaters on July 31, 2026.
