‘So Much Exciting Stuff’: Ginny & Georgia Star Antonia Gentry Teases Show’s Third Season

As a die-hard fan of Ginny & Georgia, I can’t contain my excitement as we inch closer to the much-anticipated third season! Antonia Gentry’s teasing about the series moving into post-production has only fueled my anticipation. With the exceptional script and story that they have, I am confident that this season will be a masterpiece!

Antonia Gentry, known for her role as Ginny, shares her feelings about the upcoming third season of the beloved Netflix series, which is getting ready to debut. Tudum reports that filming has been completed on the hit show’s third season and it will transition into post-production before airing. “It’s always a mix of emotions when we wrap up a season,” Gentry told the outlet about her thoughts on finishing production.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but feel excited about the upcoming third season of the show, even though it’s currently in post-production. The actress behind my favorite character has hinted at a promising outcome, thanks to the exceptional script and storyline that’s been crafted. She shared her eagerness to see how our collective efforts have turned out and if the audience will share our enthusiasm. Known for her role in the 2018 film Candy Jar, she gave us a sneak peek into what the cast and crew have been up to as we eagerly await the new season’s premiere.

She remarked, “It’s nearly here, yet there’s so much thrilling activity to engage in. We’re making an effort to capture many memories.” Gentry confidently believes that the third season will be just as impressive as the previous two due to everyone’s hard work, exceptional scripts, and the sheer pride they have.

The production recently introduced Ty Doran and Noah Lamanna as the fresh faces on the show, taking on the roles of Wolfe and Tris respectively. Wolfe is depicted as a relaxed student in Ginny’s poetry class who isn’t particularly fond of poetry. On the other hand, Tris is portrayed as a buddy of Marcus and Silver, a group of intellectually gifted skateboarders who also function as peer tutors.

In the thrilling finale of the second season, Brianne Howey’s character Georgia found herself handcuffed for allegedly murdering her stepfather, a crime that sent shockwaves through her own life, her mother’s, and Ginny’s. According to showrunner Sara Lampert, this dramatic turn of events was an unavoidable part of Georgia’s journey.

Georgia had a requirement to take a life, specifically in the town of Wellsbury, Massachusetts, as she shared with Tudum. Meanwhile, Howey hinted that the dynamics between her character and her mother would face turbulence in the upcoming season.

She clarified that things aren’t finalized until they truly are. She went on to say that we can’t expect a neat resolution, as there’s still more to unfold. Later, Lampert added that the next season will present unprecedented obstacles, fresh connections, and unforeseen trials for Ginny and Georgia – experiences unlike anything they’ve encountered in the series so far.

The premiere date of Ginny & Georgia season 3 has yet to be announced. Meanwhile, you can catch up on seasons 1 and 2, which are available to stream on Netflix.
