Silent Hill f gets a new gameplay trailer and a September release date

Following the rekindled enthusiasm for the series after last year’s Silent Hill 2 remake, it seems that Silent Hill 5 is all set to captivate us further, and the gameplay trailer shown during the June 2025 State of Play event has only heightened our anticipation as we edge closer to the newly-announced release date of September 25, 2025.

Initially announced in the year 2022, fans of Silent Hill won’t have to wait much longer for the latest installment. 1960s Japan serves as the backdrop for our protagonist, Shimizu Hinako, as her peaceful town morphs into a nightmare landscape, with everyone she knows transformed into grotesque monsters, and she is branded a traitor. If its earlier installments are any indication, there will likely be many hidden truths to uncover when the game is released this September.
