In the debut episode of The Shiunji Family Children series, entitled ‘What If…?’, we meet the main characters, a group of gifted and respected siblings. Arata, the oldest brother, playfully discusses relationships with his brother Shion, which in turn prompts their five sisters to jest back. These amusing exchanges allow us to get to know each sibling’s unique personality.
On that particular occasion, Ouka evoked memories of a festive family gathering organized by Kaname over the weekend, which happened to coincide with Kotono’s birthday. It was during this meal that Kaname disclosed an unexpected truth – everyone present, except for Shion and Minami (who are twins), were not biologically related to each other. This bombshell left everyone reeling in shock. Later that evening, Kotono wrapped her arms around Arata, surprising him from behind as he was in the bathroom.
As a devoted follower, I eagerly anticipate Episode 2 of “The Shiunji Family Children,” where the siblings’ unease grows upon realizing they aren’t biologically related. This revelation leaves me, specifically Ouka, feeling particularly unsteady when I discover from Shion that Kotono has confessed her feelings to Arata. On the other hand, Arata seems to be navigating a series of unexpected predicaments one after another.
After Kotono’s unexpected embrace, he heads back to his room, but finds Kiyoka lying in ambush instead. Her actions take him aback as she makes an unforeseen move. As feelings intensify and barriers fade, Arata becomes entangled in a string of awkward and escalating interactions.
