In the final episode of Blue Exorcist Season 4 Part 2, Satan, occupying the Paladin’s form, aimed to overpower Yuri Egin. However, Shiro stepped in and, when Satan sought to take control of him, Shiro inflicted a deep wound on his own throat to expel the demon. Miraculously, Shiro survived thanks to his body fortified with Elixir.
After trying to kill Yuri and her children, namely Rin and Yukio (who were named by Yuri), Shiro managed to flee with them. However, Yuri’s health began to falter, and she passed away in the snowy cold. In her last moments, she confided her final wishes to Shiro, causing him to weep deeply. Shortly after, a Yeti emerged and attacked him.
In the tenth episode of Blue Exorcist: The Blue Night Saga, Shiro, having outrun the Knights but tragically losing Yuri, finds himself deeply distraught. Plagued by feelings of guilt, his zest for life wanes, leaving him susceptible to demonic assaults. As Rin’s emotions unfold throughout these events, viewers may anticipate Shiro to take on the responsibility of caring for the twins.
As Lucifer plunges into despair over Satan’s vanishing and the unsuccessful experiment with possession, he starts to lose control, prompting Mephisto and Shemihaza to intervene in order to stop him from causing widespread destruction. This sets the stage for a significant clash as they confront his reckless aspirations.
