As a crypto investor, I’m excited to share that Shiba Inu‘s lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama, has unveiled the launch of the WHY Combinator – a decentralized initiative designed to nurture growth and innovation within the meme coin community. This is an exciting step forward in our shared journey.
This endeavor aims to boost project capabilities, simultaneously improving the practical value of the BONE token within the ecosystem.
Shiba Inu Unveils WHY Combinator to Boost Meme Coin Ecosystem
On January 11th, Kusama detailed the objectives of the project and shared insights about recent advancements in the Shiba Inu community. He unveiled approximately 30 technological tools collectively named “The 36 Chambers of Tech”. These tools are primarily focused on domains like artificial intelligence, Web3 gaming, and decentralized identity solutions.
As Kusama explains, the WHY Combinator has been developed with the aim of boosting the integration of Shiba Inu technologies. This initiative will provide assistance to developers who utilize Shibarium, the network’s Layer-2 blockchain, in creating innovative projects. Ultimately, the ambition is for “Powered by Shib” to become as widely recognized as other prominent tech brands on a global scale.
Kusama wrote that this system, which we’re calling ‘The 36 Chambers of Tech’, can swiftly and effectively transition people to Web3, making ‘Powered by Shib’ as familiar as ‘Powered by Google’. (Objectives!)
In this initiative, the TREAT token, which stands for Transactional Rewards for Engagement & Access Token, plays a crucial role. This token will function as a medium of exchange for WHY Combinator projects, and it will stimulate community involvement through regular TreatDrops. These TreatDrops are created to recognize engagement and motivate action within the ecosystem, offering rewards for participation.
Kusama pointed out that this not only attracts new users to experiment with our Metaverse or collect Shiboshis (or SHEboshis), but also encourages the development of fresh protocols, projects, and systems within Why combinator. It’s a groundbreaking move when you consider the access it offers to our Shibizens.
The developers behind Shiba Inu are additionally focusing on broadening the scope of BONE’s function within the system. At present, it acts as the fuel token for Shibarium, but the team is investigating potential additional features.
One proposed idea is developing a plan that facilitates the deployment of Layer-3 (L3) technologies. These implementations, called roll-ups, would empower Shibarium to function as both a transaction settlement platform and a data storage layer, much like systems such as Arbitrum and Optimism do.
Should it be implemented successfully, Shibarium will become a central platform, connecting multiple “satellite” chains using Chainlink’s interoperability features. This advancement aligns with the network’s objective to expand its ecosystem and draw in more developers.
Regardless of some doubters, Kusama is certain about Shibarium’s direction. He highlighted the team’s dedication to innovation, brushing off efforts to hinder progress. In essence, Shiba Inu is striving to build a technologically advanced and scalable environment that draws developers and encourages practical applications for its blockchain platform.
