‘She’s A Natural’: Beyoncé Says She Didn’t Want Blue Ivy to Join Renaissance Tour, but She ‘Earned It’

However, it seemed like Beyoncé initially didn’t want her to perform alongside her. The singer recently opened up about these feelings during a candid interview.

Beyoncé shared with GQ magazine that her precious offspring – Blue Ivy, and twins Sir and Rumi – tend to accompany her during her work commitments. In essence, she explained that they travel wherever she does.

After school, the trio visits their mom’s workplace and her art studio as well. Furthermore, they attend her dance rehearsals. Given these circumstances, it’s only logical that they would learn her choreography, as she explained to the media source.

Speaking about her eldest child, Beyoncé mentioned that Blue had shown an eagerness to perform with her during the Renaissance World tour. The singer stated, “Blue is an artist herself, with a keen ear for music and fashion. She’s incredibly talented as an editor, painter, and actress.” She continued, “Ever since she was three, Blue has been developing characters. She’s naturally gifted, but I chose not to have Blue on stage.

Beyoncé expressed that her eldest child aspired to achieve something, and she respected this ambition deeply. She worked diligently to “earn” it herself, and in doing so, she truly savored the experience. Everyone around them had the opportunity to observe her personal growth unfold night after night.

In May 2023, Beyoncé concluded her final tour, and her daughter Blue made her debut at the Paris show on May 26th. She displayed an impressive dance routine on “My Power,” mirroring her mother’s talent and leaving everyone spellbound with her choreography. Her breathtaking dance moves swiftly took over social media, generating admiration for her skill and sparking a popular trend online.

Earlier, Tina Knowles, Beyoncé’s mother, spoke to People magazine and expressed her pride in her eldest granddaughter for performing on stage. She also highlighted the fact that this granddaughter had put in a lot of effort.

She told the publication, “Well, this is a heels family. You’re trained early to walk in heels,”  She added that Blue was “having the time of her life” and could not be “more proud of her because she really worked hard.”

Knowles mentioned that Blue was turning 11 and only had a week to prepare, and she was continuously improving, with her saying, “That’s why I feel so proud, always acting as her grandma.
