‘She Was In…’: Cheryl Hines Enjoyed Emmys 2024 To The Fullest Days Before Husband RFK Jr.’s Scandal, Insider Reveals

As a lifestyle expert with years of experience under my belt, I find myself constantly astounded by the twists and turns that public figures’ lives take. The latest scandal involving Cheryl Hines‘ husband, RFK Jr., is no exception. While it’s always unfortunate when personal issues become public, it’s crucial to approach such situations with empathy and understanding.

At the Emmys 2024 afterparty, Cheryl Hines appeared to be enjoying herself several days before the public unveiling of her husband RFK Jr.’s scandal. It’s worth mentioning that she attended the Emmy Awards prior to the revelation of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s alleged affair with a journalist, as reported by CNN. Notably, Olivia Nuzzi from New York Magazine was suspended, and the reason for this action, according to CNN, was her involvement in an affair with Kennedy.

According to People magazine, following the Emmy Awards on September 15, she exhibited a cheerful demeanor at the Curb Your Enthusiasm table during the HBO/Max Primetime Emmy Awards afterparty held at the San Vicente Bungalows. The source close to her stated that she was in high spirits.

On September 19, a representative from New York Magazine acknowledged that journalist Nuzzi broke the rules during his coverage of RFK Jr.’s presidential campaign and their personal relationship. This behavior goes against the magazine’s principles regarding potential conflicts of interest and full disclosure.

The representative stated that if they had learned about the intimate details earlier, they wouldn’t have permitted Nuzzi to further report on the campaign. They also conveyed their apologies for breaching the trust of their readers.

Nuzzi explained to People that their relationship wasn’t of a physical nature. She made it clear it wasn’t an actual affair but acknowledged that it should have been disclosed to prevent complications. In her words, “I am truly sorry for not doing so promptly and apologize to those I’ve let down, particularly my fellow colleagues at New York.

Cheryl Hines’s spouse, Kennedy, who withdrew from the 2024 presidential race in August, later endorsed Donald Trump. Although neither Nuzzi nor New York Magazine specifically named Kennedy as being involved in the scandal, it was reported in the sources given to CNN that he was the individual in question, aged 70.

Kennedy’s representative clarified to The Washington Post that Kennedy only conducted one interview with Olivia Nuzzi regarding her article, “The Mind-Bending Politics of RFK Jr.’s Spoiler Campaign.” It was a one-time meeting between the two in November 2023.
