As a devoted fan and follower, I’m still holding onto my feelings of disappointment towards one of my Scream Queens co-stars due to a racially insensitive remark they made. I’m still waiting for an apology from them.
She asserted that her fellow worker, who she identified as Brenda in her written account, allegedly posed the question, “Who do you believe yourself to be? Akin to Martin Luther King?” following a disagreement with another colleague, when she attempted to mediate the conflict.
In a past conversation with the Los Angeles Times, Palmer openly acknowledged that while her statement held significance, she didn’t internalize it as a burden since she is mindful of herself. “I’m not a victim,” she continued, “that’s not my narrative, dear.
Currently, the actress asserted that although her unidentified colleague made a disrespectful remark, he hasn’t offered an apology despite keeping in contact. According to Palmer, this co-star sent a message of congratulations upon the release of her book to gauge her response. “She is well aware of her actions,” Palmer stated further.
Scream Queens can be streamed on Apple TV+.
