As a long-time Marvel enthusiast with a soft spot for She-Hulk and Venom, I must say that the latest ‘Venom War: Zombiotes #3’ has taken my fandom to an entirely new level of excitement! The transformation of She-Hulk into a zombified Venom is nothing short of groundbreaking.
In the most recent Marvel epic, ‘Venom War,’ the risks are significant as fresh losses occur. For the very first time, a character exposed to gamma radiation transforms into Venom – it’s She-Hulk this time.
Instead of a mere change, this is an extensive zombiote virus contamination that alters Jennifer Walters in a manner so extraordinary, you’ll find belief in it only upon witnessing it firsthand.
In the thrilling third installment of ‘Venom War: Zombiotes’ penned by Cavan Scott and Juan José Ryp, some less prominent characters from Spider-Man’s history find themselves grappling with the aftermath of the symbiote-infected undead. She-Hulk intervenes to aid them, but she ultimately gets ensnared and infected by the virus herself.
In an unexpected twist, She-Hulk experiences a grotesque metamorphosis, becoming a zombie-like version of Venom. This leaves fans questioning whether she’ll revert back to her original form in the future.
This version of She-Hulk as Venom brings an eerie, powerful new player to Marvel, combining elements of a zombie virus with an alien invasion.
As I raced against time to halt the spread of the zombiote virus, my comrades and I dialled up the decibels in a place known only as ‘The Bar With No Name.’ It was here that I had been exposed to this menace, and now it was my turn to strike back.
Despite successfully preserving her life, the thought-provoking possibility of Hulk and Venom uniting persists as an intriguing “what if” question. If this fusion were to occur, it might yield the most powerful duo within the Marvel Universe.
Currently, we catch a fleeting, eerie peek at the She-Hulk transformed as Venom – a blend of green and black, almost spectral in nature.
This singular image challenges our previous perceptions and etches an indelible mark on us, possibly lasting until Marvel ultimately decides, if they ever do, to permanently realize this transformation.
You can find ‘Venom War: Zombiotes #3‘ at your local comic store, released by Marvel Comics.
