‘She Don’t Want Me’: Nick Cannon Admits He Did ‘Crazy’ Things During Marriage to Mariah Carey

As a die-hard fan, I find myself constantly captivated by the rollercoaster ride that is Nick Cannon’s love life. From the highs of his whirlwind romance with Mariah Carey to the lows of his tumultuous relationships with other partners, it’s never a dull moment!

Nick Cannon openly acknowledges that he’s not perfect, as demonstrated by his response during the Fox Fall Press Day when he expressed a willingness to reconcile with his ex, Mariah Carey, their shared 13-year-old children being Monroe and Moroccan.

Reflecting back, I’ve been out of a six-year marriage since 2014. With a chuckle, I admit that my ex-wife has moved on from my eccentricities, as one does. Recently, when speaking with E! News in August, I expressed my hope for us to rekindle our relationship. I truly believe we were meant for each other, and it would be rather foolish not to give it another go if the opportunity arises.

The pair has been jointly raising their two kids since their separation. Apart from Mariah, Nick Cannon has nine additional children with five distinct partners. Abby De La Rosa is the mother of twins, Zillion and Zion, as well as daughter Beautiful, who are all his children. Golden, Powerful, and Rise are the offspring of Brittany Bell. Lanisha Cole and Bre Tiesi each have one child with Cannon – Onyx and Legendary respectively.

Furthermore, it’s worth noting that Cannon also shares a daughter named Halo with Alyssa Scott. Regrettably, their son Zen passed away in the year 2021. Previously, Cannon has expressed to PEOPLE that, despite acknowledging his imperfections as a partner, he considers himself a dedicated father.

He also mentioned that if you prioritize your children and let go of personal pride, there’s essentially no limit to what you can achieve. (Page Six)

In 2020, Mariah Carey shared details about her divorce from Nick Cannon in her memoir titled “The Meaning of Mariah Carey.” She explained that after they had twins together in 2011, their marriage began to face challenges due to the pressures of juggling demanding careers as parents and managing family responsibilities such as child-rearing and household duties.

The artist admitted that, under different circumstances, their marriage might have succeeded, but ultimately, their contrasting personalities led to incompatibility, according to StyleCaster. Regardless of the marital split, Carey emphasized that their main focus is now on their children, and they are dedicated to joint parenting and always putting family needs first.

Carey expressed that she had a sense of security around Cannon, which held significant importance considering her past marriage with Mottola, who she characterized as dominating.

It’s worth noting that when Carey initially crossed paths with Cannon, she never imagined herself as a mother. Yet, love transformed her viewpoint, leading her eventually to accept and embrace the role of a mother.
