‘She Does It All’: Ice-T And Coco Austin’s Daughter Chanel Takes Over The Sets Of Law & Order SVU

Ice-T and Coco Austin’s daughter, Chanel, at just 8 years old, is already making waves in the entertainment industry by contributing to the Law & Order show.

Ice-T, both a rapper and actor, along with his 8-year-old daughter Chanel, who is also Coco Chanel’s granddaughter, are already lending their hands to the Law & Order series, where Ice-T plays a main role. Recently, her mother, Coco Austin, posted about Chanel seemingly working on this very show.

On August 2nd, Austin posted a spontaneous video on Instagram, featuring her daughter diligently working on the set of Law & Order: SVU.

In the video, Coco is heard saying, “Backstage at Law & Order, someone’s attempting to replace daddy in his role.” Meanwhile, an 8-year-old child is observed managing several tasks. Chanel seems to be observing the set, taking phone calls, and jotting down what appears to be a script.

In my role, I’m often assisted by a teammate as we work together to manage and operate various equipment such as monitors and cameras.

Towards the end of the video, Chanel was seated at Mariska Hargitay’s character, Olivia Benson’s, workstation, making a call on her phone.

In the video, she hilariously changed the nameplate from “Capt. Olivia Benson” to “Capt. Chanel.”

In a playful tone, Austin wrote in his post caption: “Look out, directors, cameramen, and even Olivia Benson herself! Babychanelnicole is now in charge at @nbclawandorder. This talented young lady doesn’t just act – she takes over every role!”

Even though the 60-year-old actress wasn’t seen in the video, she still took the time to post a comment below it. Her message read, “Thanks goodness someone is keeping things going!!”

Austin has also posted photos with Chanel before. As recently as March, she uploaded several pictures on her Instagram (in a collaborative post with her daughter and spouse), which showcased Austin, Chanel, Ice-T, and themselves celebrating their daughter’s Parents’ Day. In the series of images, both mother and daughter were spotted donning pink sweaters.

According to People magazine, in January, Ice-T shared that their 8-year-old child has shown an interest in his line of work, and he went ahead and secured a talent agent for her.

During his chat with the media outlet, he was inquired about whether his youngest child might make a notable guest appearance. To this, he enthusiastically replied, “Absolutely!” It’s worth mentioning that his spouse, Austin, has graced the screen of the show three times.

Besides Chanel, the rapper is also a father to two children: Tracy Jr., aged 32, whom he had with ex-partner Darlene Ortiz, and LeTesha, 47 years old, who was born from his relationship with high school sweetheart Adrienne.

In 2002, both Coco Austin and her husband, Ice-T, got married. Their single child, Chanel, was born in 2015.
