As a seasoned fan who’s witnessed more than my fair share of Hollywood drama, I must say Shameik Moore seems to be navigating the world of stardom with a unique flair. His recent social media escapades have left me scratching my head, wondering if he’s channeling his Miles Morales character into real life, given the web of confusion he often leaves behind.
Shameik Moore, the voice actor for Miles Morales in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, has been generating buzz due to his apparent displeasure over Hailey Steinfeld’s engagement to NFL player Josh Allen from the Buffalo Bills.
Amidst all the joyous posts about the couple’s news, Moore tweeted something seemingly displeased, at an inconvenient moment. Later on, Laura Harrier, famous for portraying Liz Allan in two Marvel Cinematic Universe Spider-Man films, criticized Moore’s unusual conduct again.
Moore and Laura Harrier posted an old video on TikTok from a party last year, where they were photographed together. Some viewers might perceive this as hinting at romantic feelings, but the clip was likely taken casually during a photo shoot, with someone else filming it as well.

Additionally, Moore posted the video on platform X accompanied by the caption “soon to come” and a musical symbol, suggesting an unusual promotional tactic. Subsequently, he removed the post from his account.
Laura Harrier, who is engaged, reportedly asked him to remove it, but he never did.
Laura Harrier has asked Shameik Moore to remove a post he made that featured her, as she’s recently become engaged and finds the implication uncomfortable. However, the post is still live, which she finds peculiar.

I requested of him, ‘Could you please remove this post? I’m not sure why you’d share something like that, as I’m about to get married and I find the implied suggestion inappropriate.’ Unfortunately, it remains posted, and I find it quite unusual.
It’s been noted that Moore seems to have a pattern with engaged actresses.
Moore has remained silent regarding the recent event, however, he has expressed his thoughts on the matter involving Hailee Steinfeld.
In response to criticism, Moore clarified that his words had often been distorted and misconstrued by fans over the years. Most of the criticism stemmed from speculation about his alleged affection for Hailee Steinfeld, with many assuming he was frustrated because he couldn’t reciprocate these feelings.
During the FAN EXPO San Francisco 2024, Moore discussed his experience of praising Hailee Steinfeld during the promotional tour for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, mentioning that he genuinely appreciated collaborating with her.
In the sequel, he mentioned that he and Steinfeld collaborated more intimately, fostering a stronger bond between them. Additionally, he discussed the latest conflict, expressing that it had been a challenging weekend, and offered an apology for the negative responses seen online.
