The second season of Severance wrapped up with quite a bang, hinting at more adventures ahead! Although certain scenes sparked debate, others were unquestionably impactful, paving the way for possible future episodes. To the joy of fans everywhere, Apple TV+ officially announced on March 20 that there will indeed be a third season of Severance.

The popularity of the series reached its height in Season 2, outpacing Ted Lasso to claim the title of Apple TV+’s most-viewed show. Due to widespread praise and admiration from both critics and fans, there’s been an influx of viewers tuning into Apple TV+’s platform to catch the psychological thriller. It’s been reported that the viewership of the first season has experienced a substantial surge due to the hype surrounding the show, making a third season renewal essentially guaranteed.

Ben Stiller, both the director and executive producer of the series, spread the thrilling update and promised fans that Severance Season 3 will continue to provide an equally delightful experience.

Adam Scott, the lead actor and executive producer, shared his enthusiasm about working with the outstanding team again on another adventure. In a light-hearted moment, he added, “By the way, should you happen to spot my belly button, kindly keep our little reunion a secret, would you? Cheers!

An Emmy-winning television show explores the lives of workers at a firm named Lumon, where they opt to experience a process that divides their minds into separate compartments for work and private life.

Despite no formal confirmation as of now, creators have given hints suggesting a potential Season 3. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter recently, creators Dan Erickson and Ben Stiller hinted at further installments for the cherished Apple TV+ show.

Recently, Stiller mentioned potential plans for the future of his show on Jason and Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast. “We won’t wait three years,” he suggested, adding that they might announce new details about the show’s direction quite soon.

Stiller, praised for his directing work on the show, also discussed the changing relationship he’s had with the cast members. He informed the Kelce brothers that transitioning into filmmaking has only increased his respect and admiration for the acting profession.

Apart from that, he disclosed they’ve already decided how the show will conclude, and it won’t be in Season 2. “We are aware of the ending—figuring out the journey to get there is our creative endeavor, and we have milestones,” he explained on Jimmy Kimmel Live! recently.
