As a seasoned gamer and comic book enthusiast with a soft spot for well-crafted storylines and engaging characters, I have to say that the anticipation for Invincible Season 3 has been palpable. Much like waiting for the next big boss battle in an epic RPG, this wait has been long, but every piece of information shared by the creators feels like a much-needed power-up.
Similar to “The Boys”, Amazon’s “Invincible” has gained popularity. This animated series, an adaptation of a well-known comic, follows the same approach of satirizing mainstream American superhero comics, giving us a fresh viewpoint on what we typically expect from superheroes.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but acknowledge the remarkable impact this animated series has made. Not only did it capture the hearts of countless viewers, making it one of Amazon’s most cherished productions in various aspects, but it also sparked a vast and devoted community of fans. This is why it remains one of the most intriguing and widely followed series today.
Given this, fans had expressed concerns that the long wait of nearly three years between Seasons 1 and 2 might happen again. However, various reports suggest that Season 3 of Invincible is on its way, assuring fans that they won’t experience such a lengthy delay for this upcoming season.
The third season of the show “Invincible” hasn’t set a definite release date yet, but credible media sources suggest it’s coming soon. The cast is expected to feature stars such as Steven Yeun, J.K. Simmons, Sandra Oh, Zazie Beetz, Grey DeLisle, Chris Diamantopoulos, Walton Goggins, Gillian Jacobs, Jason Mantzoukas, Ross Marquand, Khary Payton, Zachary Quinto, Andrew Rannells, Kevin Michael Richardson, and Seth Rogen. As with previous seasons, you’ll be able to watch it exclusively on Amazon.
Back in June, I learned some exciting news straight from Ross Marquand, one of our beloved actors on the show. Here’s what he shared:
“We’re close to finishing ‘Invincible’ Season 3. It’s likely that it will be released…I shouldn’t promise, as Robert [Kirkman] might say ‘Don’t reveal anything because we don’t know,’ but I have a strong feeling it may come out in the early part of next year.”

“Don’t worry about waiting a long time. I can assure you that the wait won’t be lengthy… However, I don’t have an exact date to share with you.”
Given these developments, it’s clear that fans have been given reason to be optimistic. Moreover, we can now definitively say that showrunner and producer Simon Racioppa has indeed announced that Season 3 will be arriving shortly.
“Amazon has simultaneously acquired seasons 2 and 3 of our show. Therefore, we’re currently immersed in season 3. I can’t provide an exact release date yet, but I can assure you the wait won’t be as long as it was between seasons 1 and 2. Progress on season 3 is going smoothly and it’s shaping up well.”

Indeed, there’s no confirmed launch date yet, but all indications point towards it being in the year 2025. This should bring joy to many enthusiasts!
