1972 Munich Summer Olympics serve as the backdrop for this film, which focuses on a broadcasting team that unexpectedly becomes involved in the kidnapping of Israeli athletes. Based on true events, the narrative unfolds from the perspective of the ABC Sports crew, who transitioned from reporting sports updates to covering the hostage crisis.

Filmmaker Tim Fehlbaum has taken charge of directing and co-writing a movie that stars John Magaro, Peter Sarsgaard, and Ben Chaplin as main characters. In this production, a driven and enthusiastic producer named Geoff (portrayed by Magaro) strives to demonstrate his value to his superior, the TV executive Roone Arledge.
