Selena Gomez’s Former Friend Threatens to ‘Expose’ a Major Celebrity After Their Alleged Feud Last Year; DEETS

It’s being suggested that Caroline Franklin, a longtime friend of Selena Gomez, may reveal confidential information about a well-known celebrity, with many fans believing this could be related to actress Selena Gomez from “Only Murders in the Building.” Reports indicate that their friendship ended due to a significant dispute.

Since July 2023, they haven’t been seen together, and last November, Gomez stopped following Franklin on Instagram, signaling their estrangement. It remains undisclosed what led these close friends to part ways, but rumors hint at Franklin’s strong support for Donald Trump as the potential cause of their falling out.

Contrarily, Gomez has been vocal in his criticism towards the existing policies of the current U.S. President. On February 19, Daily Mail posted screenshots of Franklin’s controversial statement on social media. The influential figure criticized celebrities who claim to advocate for human rights and feminism but fail to back up their words with actions.

She said, “You all are just talking about activism without really doing anything about it. It’s a perfect example of performative activism.” Franklin further stated that when she chooses to reveal the truth about this decade-long friendship between them, which seems to be with Gomez, she will do so honestly and in full detail.

In a reported jab at half-Palestinian supermodel Gigi Hadid over her perceived insensitive remarks on the Israel conflicts, Franklin was said to have labeled her as “a person with an attractive face but lacking in intelligence.” Despite this apparent insult seemingly directed towards Emilia Pérez, she has not responded. However, a source revealed to a British tabloid that Franklin is unfazed by the situation.

Additionally, the source claimed that Franklin’s current actions are simply a cry for attention. Unsurprisingly, Gomez seems unfazed by her ex-best friend since she’s preoccupied with accomplishing items on her life’s to-do list.

Over the past two months, the artist became engaged to Benny Blanco, disclosed her upcoming album titled “I Said I Love You First”, received a Golden Globe nomination, and secured her first-ever Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Award for “Only Murders in the Building”.
