A brief sneak peek of the upcoming finale shows Alex visiting Justin’s home, claiming she wants to see her brother. However, in truth, she is actually concerned about Billie.
When asked, Justin tells Alex that Billie is okay, yet his hesitation suggests otherwise. Doubting the circumstances, Alex maintains a casual demeanor but remains skeptical about the state of things.
Alex chooses to handle the situation personally since she believes she’s exposed Justin and his family to enough risk by abandoning them when it came to looking after Billie.
Previously unseen on the show since its debut, Gomez signaled her comeback well before expectations, suggesting that it was imminent rather than a future event. In the excitement of the show’s highly successful premiere on Disney+, she subtly dropped hints about an early return.
