Created by Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David, Seinfeld aired for nine seasons between 1989 and 1998. The show centered around a comedian and his unusual group of friends living in New York City, and it’s become known as one of the most important and impactful comedies ever made for television.

Despite ongoing fan speculation about a possible reunion, Jerry Seinfeld shut down those rumors in 2021. He explained that while he appreciates the past – he loves visiting his childhood home on Long Island – he prefers to focus on new projects, stating he wasn’t sure what a reunion would even look like or how it could be good.

The holiday post from the show thrilled fans, but many noticed that Jason Alexander, who played George Costanza, wasn’t included. One fan playfully commented, “Where’s Jason? George would be furious!” Another simply called it a dream team, saying, “This is iconic.”

Though brief, the recent Seinfeld reunion highlighted the show’s signature chemistry and comedy. Fans who’ve loved the show for years were thrilled and felt nostalgic seeing the three stars together again, even just for a holiday appearance.
