There’s growing evidence that Sebastian Stan will portray both Harvey Dent and his criminal counterpart, Two-Face, in the next Batman movie.
After speculation began, Stan’s stylist, Michael Fisher, shared posts on Instagram suggesting the role is confirmed.
One image depicts Stan wearing a stylish suit with digital scarring covering half of his face, echoing the look of the villain Two-Face. Another slide reveals a photo of the actor identified as “Harvey Dent,” confirming his role in the upcoming sequel.
While Warner Bros. and Sebastian Stan haven’t made any official announcements, recent social media activity strongly suggests something is happening.

Two-Face Hype Builds
Stan’s casting was first reported by Deadline as a “major role opposite Robert Pattinson.”
Rumors immediately pointed to Harvey Dent, and these new Instagram Stories appear to support that.
Matt Reeves has been gradually revealing Batman’s villains in his movies, and we’ve already learned that Penguin will get his own separate series. There were also hints of the Joker appearing in a scene that didn’t make the final cut.
Harvey Dent is a key character, and Stan could be a great choice to show a gradual, compelling change over time.

What This Means For The Batman – Part II
If Stanley Tucci is playing both Dent and Two-Face, it could create a more compelling and emotionally impactful villain storyline. Rumors have also suggested Scarlett Johansson might play Gilda Dent, Harvey Dent’s wife, which would further enrich the character’s story.
Barry Keoghan is likely to reprise his role as the Joker, adding to the challenges Bruce Wayne faces. He’ll be dealing with threats not only from criminals operating in the shadows, but also from within Gotham’s own legal structures.
Release Info
Matt Reeves is directing The Batman – Part II, with Robert Pattinson returning as Bruce Wayne. The movie is currently planned for release on October 1, 2027.
