Sebastian Stan Reveals He’d Like To Play THIS Major Role In DC Universe: ‘Never Say Never’

As a lifestyle expert with a deep appreciation for the world of cinema, I find myself captivated by the multifaceted journey of Sebastian Stan. His versatility as an actor is truly commendable, and his recent interest in venturing into the DC universe, specifically the Riddler, is nothing short of intriguing.

As a dedicated follower, I’m all set for another thrilling adventure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Thunderbolts. Yet, beyond that action-packed role as Bucky Barnes in various Marvel Studios films, there’s an intriguing character from the DC universe I’d love to portray – one of their smartest and most unhinged villains.

Speaking with Josh Horowitz recently, I had the chance to express my thoughts on embodying the enigmatic character of the Riddler, standing against the brooding hero known as Batman in the shadows of Gotham City. It’s an intriguing role that allows me to showcase both the intellect and mischief of this iconic villain.

When Horowitz inquired whether Stan would be interested in becoming part of James Gunn’s newly developed superhero team, specifically taking on the role of Batman, the actor known for his work in Tom & Pammy expressed hesitation about accepting a major character like that.

When Horowitz suggested that Horowitz could portray Batman due to his chin and other features, Sebastian Stan replied, “Well, never say never. To be honest, I’m not sure… there are so many characters… Yes, there are so many roles… You know, I’ve always had a fondness for the Riddler.

At the same time, the multitalented Romanian-American actor also commended Paul Dano for his exceptional portrayal of the Riddler in Matt Reeves’ Batman film.

In an upcoming role, Sebastian Stan will portray a youthful and burgeoning Donald Trump in the film titled “The Apprentice.” This movie has previously garnered attention and acclaim during its screening at the Cannes Film Festival.

Ali Abbasi’s impressive film features Jeremy Strong portraying Roy Cohn, a past attorney for the U.S. President, alongside character Stan. This production was also exhibited at the Galaxy Theatre in Telluride on the 31st of August.

The Apprentice was later released in theaters on October 17, 2024.

Initially appearing as Bucky Barnes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) during the 2011 movie Captain America: The First Avenger, Stan quickly left an indelible mark on viewers with his performance in subsequent MCU films.

The character of Bucky Barnes has one of the most intriguing storylines in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

On the other hand, Paul Dano was astounding in the 2022 superhero flick.

In the role of The Riddler, the actor from Little Miss Sunshine challenged both the audience and the co-star he appeared alongside, Robert Pattinson, with his cleverest plot turns.

In the movie “Thunderbolt,” Stan shares the screen with Florence Pugh, Geraldine Viswanathan, Lewis Pullman, David Harbour, and Wyatt Russell, among others.
