Fans of 1923 can rest easy—Sebastian Roché says the upcoming season will not disappoint!

In a recent share, actor Iróche, known for his role as Father Renaud in the popular Yellowstone spin-off, hinted that season 2 promises impactful character transformations through unforgettable journeys.

Roche, aged 60, expressed that for him, season 2 was a ‘journey’-themed season. Every character embarks on a journey, making it quite fulfilling.

He clarified that unlike last season where the characters were primarily introduced, in this one, each character will undergo both physical and emotional transformations. “These experiences will indelibly alter the individuals involved.

Additionally, Roché shared insights into how his character developed during the latest season. He referred to Father Renaud’s journey as an “exciting odyssey” and embraced the character’s evolution.

I was captivated by the intricacy of my character’s development, particularly Father Renaud’s transformation throughout his search for the girl. This journey seems to symbolize profound change within him.

Although he didn’t share much information, Roche openly acknowledged that the end of the season stirred up strong emotions within him. “I was on the verge of tears,” he confessed, further explaining that show creator Taylor Sheridan infuses a tender romantic sentiment into his writing.

As a devoted admirer of Sheridan’s artistry, Roche expressed that working on the production of “1923” was an unparalleled fulfillment of a lifelong dream: “He’s exceptionally skilled at crafting dialogue – if you can call it that. A more French term might be appropriate, but his dialogues are simply incomparable,” he added.

Roché also praised Sheridan’s storytelling, saying, “His character building is truly exceptional.”
