Season 4 of ‘The White Lotus’ Promises More Drama With New Cast Revealed

Production on the fourth season of HBO’s popular show, The White Lotus, will start next month in France. Filming will take place in both the South of France and Paris. Like previous seasons, the new episodes will center around the guests and employees of a luxurious hotel – this time, a French location of the fictional chain.

HBO has added Vincent Cassel, Corentin Fila, and Nadia Tereszkiewicz to the show’s cast. They will likely play residents or staff at the hotel, similar to the memorable supporting characters from previous seasons.

Vincent Cassel, a celebrated actor with awards for his role in Mesrine and known for films like the Ocean’s and Jason Bourne series, is reuniting with HBO after previously appearing in Westworld. He’s joined by actors Guillaume Fila, who has starred in Being 17 and Escort Boys, and Pierre Tereszkiewicz, known for Forever Young and Heads or Tails. Both Fila and Tereszkiewicz are represented by prominent talent agencies in France.

Season four will feature new French actors alongside returning favorites like Helena Bonham Carter, Steve Coogan, and Chris Messina. The cast also includes Sandra Bernhard, Caleb Jonte Edwards, Ari Graynor, Marissa Long, Alexander Ludwig, AJ Michalka, and Dylan Ennis, who might portray a local resident due to his French-Jamaican heritage. More actors are still being cast.

The White Lotus has taken place in Hawaii, Sicily, and Thailand in previous seasons. While most of the cast changes each time, a few actors like Jennifer Coolidge, Jon Gries, and Natasha Rothwell have returned for multiple seasons. Past seasons have also launched supporting actors – like Murray Bartlett, Sabrina Impacciatore, and Lisa – into fan favorites, and HBO hopes the new cast members in France will have the same effect.

Mike White, who created the show, will also write and direct the fourth season. He’ll be working alongside executive producers David Bernad and Mark Kamine, who will manage the overall production. This TV role is a bit of a departure for Cassel, who is usually focused on film projects like Liaison on Apple TV+ and Fiasco on Netflix.

Viewers are eager to see how the show’s new French location will impact the plot and character interactions. The new cast members – Cassel, Fila, and Tereszkiewicz – are expected to add exciting new layers to the story, and excitement is building as filming is about to begin.
