During Cassie Ventura’s testimony, her husband, Alex Fine, took a short break from the courtroom. This brief absence occurred during some parts of her testimony.

32-year-old Fine testified in the proceedings for four days, emotionally sharing experiences of alleged abuse by her former partner, Diddy. She detailed incidents spanning over years that involved sexual, verbal mistreatment, substance abuse, emotional manipulation, and control.

On May 13, Ventura began testifying, detailing harrowing events she alleges occurred during her relationship with Combs. Her accusations encompass physical harm, sexual pressure, and other types of mistreatment. The court case originated from a lawsuit she filed in 2023, which was swiftly settled but sparked additional claims against the music executive.

The judge requested that Fine step out of the courtroom, as there might be a potential conflict of interest should he need to testify in future proceedings.

Following the conclusion of her testimony, Ventura released a statement expressing, “I wish that my testimony might empower other survivors to share their stories and find the courage to recover from trauma and fear associated with abuse.

In response to criticism, Fine defended his wife and acknowledged her strength in overcoming years of violence. According to People, he stated, “People may say I didn’t rescue Cassie, but that’s an insult to the tough journey she underwent on her path to freedom. Cassie was the one who liberated herself from abuse, manipulation, violence, and threats.

Cassie Ventura’s spouse, who they married in 2019, has gained widespread praise for his frequent involvement. He’s been present at nearly every hearing and has always been by her side as she shares harrowing experiences in court. They have two kids together already, and another one is on the way.
