Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ Attorneys Slam New Lawsuits From Tony Buzbee, Calling Them ‘Attempts To Garner Publicity’

As a lifestyle expert who has spent decades navigating the complexities of celebrity culture and the entertainment industry, I find myself deeply troubled by the latest developments surrounding Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. Having followed his career closely since its inception, it is disheartening to see such an influential figure mired in allegations that, if true, are truly despicable.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ legal representatives have countered the accusations made by Tony Buzbee, the Houston lawyer who filed six new lawsuits against Combs on Monday, October 14, calling it a ploy for publicity and branding him as someone seeking attention.

According to the attorney for the founder of Bad Boy Records, the press conference and phone number that was released earlier were obvious attempts to generate publicity preceding today’s flurry of court filings. The phone number in question belongs to Buzbee, who set it up as a means for accusers to speak out against Diddy. Currently, the lawyer is representing around 120 accusers, each claiming they were mistreated by the now-imprisoned rapper.

On Monday, Diddy’s legal representatives informed TMZ, “The truth shall be upheld in court: Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted any individual, regardless of age or gender.

On Monday, I stumbled upon news swirling across the web about half-a-dozen legal battles aimed at none other than my idol, Diddy! It turns out that these suits were filed by Buzbee, who’s representing two women and four men – yes, even a teenager – in the heart of Manhattan’s Southern District. I can hardly contain my excitement, as this development has got me absolutely buzzing!

As per the news article, the six individuals mentioned anonymously as Jane and John Does claim that they suffered sexual misconduct, including abuse, assault, or rape, at the hands of Combs. These alleged incidents occurred between 1995 and 2021.

According to NBC’s reporting, a woman who remains unnamed claims that she and a friend of hers were invited by Combs to a hotel room in Manhattan. They allege that they were then coerced to drink alcohol and take drugs against their will. The woman asserts that the rapper and record producer threatened to harm them both before he sexually assaulted her, the lawsuit states. This alleged incident is said to have occurred in 2004 when the accuser was only 19 years old.

A second woman’s accusation, as reported by NBC and confirmed by People, claims that Diddy sexually assaulted her in 1995 at a party held in New York City to celebrate the release of Biggie Smalls’ music video One More Chance. The gathering was filled with prominent attendees when Diddy approached the accuser while she was dancing with her friends and requested to have a private conversation, according to the complaint.

In seclusion within the bathroom, accounts suggest that Combs began forcefully kissing her and, upon her request for him to moderate his actions, it’s claimed he violently hit her head against the wall, causing her to fall to the ground. The allegations further state that while she was lying on the floor, Combs is said to have raped her.

After the event, as reported by the aforementioned media outlets upon their review of the complaint, Combs casually readjusted his attire and made a threat to the accuser: “If you speak about this, you’ll vanish.

In another complaint, a man alleges that Combs sexually assaulted him in 1998 when he was 16 years old at one of his white parties, promising him a break in the show business in return.

Recently, fresh criticisms have arisen against Combs following his indictment on federal allegations involving sex trafficking, racketeering, and facilitating prostitution on September 16. He has pleaded innocent to these accusations but was denied bail on two occasions. At the time of writing this article, he continues to be detained in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center.

Federal agents searched Combs’ homes in Miami and Beverly Hills in March, leading to his subsequent arrest.

In November 2023, legal troubles started for him when his former girlfriend, Cassandra Ventura (also known as Cassie), filed a lawsuit against him, claiming he had raped her and more. However, the following day, Cassie retracted her allegations after reaching an out-of-court agreement with Combs.

On May 5, 2025, Combs will appear in court for the federal offenses mentioned earlier. If found guilty, he could be sentenced to spend the rest of his life in prison, or serve a minimum term of 15 years in jail.

If you’re aware that someone is experiencing abuse, don’t hesitate to take action. Reach out and share your concerns. Various resources exist where you can report such incidents, including multiple support hotlines.
