Sean Diddy Combs’ Attorney Reveals THIS Is The ‘Roughest Part’ Of Rapper’s Life Behind Bars

As a devoted fan who has grown up grooving to Diddy‘s beats and his infectious energy, it’s heart-wrenching to see him behind bars, facing such grave charges. But if there’s one thing I know about Diddy, it’s his resilience – the man’s survived everything from Bad Boy Records drama to wardrobe malfunctions on live TV!

According to Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ lawyers, the biggest challenge he seems to have encountered since his September 16 arrest on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution might be adapting to the jail’s food.

Combs’ lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, mentioned to journalists outside a federal court in Manhattan, after a meeting, that he believes the food might be the most challenging aspect of it, based on reports by People magazine.

In court on Thursday, October 10, Combs’ trial date for these charges was set for May 5, 2025.

Combs is being held at Brooklyn’s notorious Metropolitan Detention Center. According to reports, the disgraced rapper and producer’s day behind bars starts at 6:00 a.m. with a breakfast of cereal, fruit, and a breakfast cake. On weekdays, lunch is served at 11 a.m., and dinner is served after the 4 p.m. headcount.

Normally, meals include dishes such as hamburgers, fish bakes, or tacos with beef, along with scrambled eggs and biscuits on weekends. It’s said that the evening menu includes choices like chicken fajitas, pasta, and roast beef. Given vegetarian inmates, it’s also reported that they offer alternatives such as tofu, baked beans, and lentils.

On Thursdays at court, Diddy donned a brown prison uniform, displaying more energy compared to past hearings. As reported by AP News, he affectionately embraced his attorney and flashed a quick smile towards his mother and kids, who were there to lend him their support in the courtroom.

Combs has spent nearly a month behind bars after two judges denied his bail requests, citing risks of witness tampering. His legal team has filed another appeal to secure his release pending trial.

Troubles related to the law for Combs started when his ex-girlfriend and protegee, Cassie Ventura, filed an assault charge against him last year. Since then, he’s faced over a dozen more allegations of sexual assault and abuse from various other women.

Despite admitting guilt concerning Ventura, following corroborating CCTV evidence supporting her statements, Diddy has refuted all allegations directed towards him, including the three charges outlined in his September 17 indictment. If found guilty, he faces a potential life sentence or at least 15 years in prison.

On Thursday, Emily Johnson, the prosecutor, indicated to the court that they are searching for further evidence, which could potentially lead to additional charges against Combs in the future. Furthermore, as reported by NBC, Johnson also shared with the court that the trial proceedings will likely span over three weeks for the prosecution’s case. In response, Combs’ attorney, Marc Agnifilo, stated that the defense would require at least a week to present their version of events in court.
