‘Sean Combs: The Reckoning’ Tops Netflix’s Weekly Most-Watched Shows List This Week

Netflix remains the top streaming service, offering a lot of new shows and returning hits this week. In the U.S., people are tuning in to both the finales of popular series and compelling true crime documentaries. Holiday-themed comedy specials are also proving popular, and this list highlights the most-watched shows from the first week of December.

‘Stranger Things’ Season 3 (2019)

In the summer of 1985, life in Hawkins is changing. The kids are growing up and starting to explore relationships, and a new mall quickly becomes the town’s main hangout. But beneath the mall lies a secret Soviet lab, and Eleven and her friends have to team up again to face a more powerful and frightening Mind Flayer. This season mixes the fun and nostalgia of summer with intense action and emotional journeys for the characters we love.

‘Raw’ (1993)

The popular weekly wrestling show continues to air on the streaming service. WWE’s biggest stars compete in exciting matches that move forward ongoing feuds and storylines. This episode starts the last month of the year and will have a big impact on future pay-per-view events. Fans watch to see their favorite wrestlers cut promos and perform incredible athletic moves in the ring.

‘Love & Death’ (2023)

As a true crime buff, I was completely hooked by this series. It tells the incredibly shocking story of Candy Montgomery and the awful murder of her friend, Betty Gore. It’s set in a seemingly idyllic small town in Texas, following two churchgoing couples, but things quickly unravel when an affair leads to devastating consequences. Elizabeth Olsen is phenomenal as Candy – she perfectly portrays this housewife who appears so calm on the surface, but you can feel the tension building inside. What really drew me in was how the series delved into the psychology of everyone involved, trying to understand what would drive someone to commit such a shocking crime and how it impacted the entire community.

‘The Beast in Me’ (2025)

A celebrated writer retreats from the world after the heartbreaking death of her son. Her peaceful solitude is shattered by the arrival of a rich and enigmatic new neighbor. She begins to suspect this man is a monster connected to her tragedy. As her obsession grows, she embarks on a risky investigation, leading to a dangerous confrontation.

‘Stranger Things’ Season 2 (2017)

A year after Will Byers vanished, the people of Hawkins are trying to get their lives back to normal. But Will is still haunted by frightening glimpses of the Upside Down, hinting that something even more dangerous is coming. This time, a new threat called the Shadow Monster is trying to take control of Will and put the whole town in danger. As the story grows, we also meet new characters who add layers to the show’s supernatural world.

‘Stranger Things’ Season 1 (2016)

When a boy mysteriously disappears in a quiet Indiana town, his mother and friends begin a frantic search. Their investigation leads them to uncover hidden government projects and a peculiar girl who can move things with her mind. They soon discover a frightening, otherworldly power is at play, originating from another dimension. This first season of the show introduced the distinctive 1980s style and the group of characters that would eventually captivate audiences worldwide.

‘The Abandons’ (2025)

Set in 1850s Oregon, this western drama tells the story of determined families striving to build a life for themselves. They face a powerful and corrupt force determined to take their land and control them. To survive, these resilient families must band together and fight for justice, navigating the blurred lines between right and wrong on the harsh frontier.

‘Matt Rife: Unwrapped – A Christmas Crowd Work Special’ (2025)

Comedian Matt Rife is back with a holiday special where he connects directly with the audience. He playfully jokes with people in the crowd about their holiday customs and dating lives. Because it’s completely unscripted, every show is unique and full of surprises. If you enjoy his popular online clips, you’ll love his funny and engaging performance.

‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 (2025)

The story of Hawkins comes to a thrilling end as a dangerous tear between worlds puts the entire planet at risk. Eleven and her friends get ready for one last, desperate fight against Vecna and the monsters from the Upside Down. Years of secrets will finally be revealed as they struggle to save their town and each other. This is an incredibly emotional goodbye to characters we’ve all come to love, and the danger has never been greater.

‘Sean Combs: The Reckoning’ (2025)

I’ve been completely hooked by this documentary series! It really gets into all the lawsuits and scandals surrounding this famous music guy. They talk to people who were actually involved and lawyers who understand the whole situation, and it’s shocking to hear the accusations. It walks you through everything that happened, showing how quickly his reputation and career changed. You really see all the proof and how it’s affected the music industry as a whole. It’s a really detailed and eye-opening look at everything.
